Douglas Leigh

Age: 92

sign designer who lit up Broadway and several of Manhattan's skyscrapers, including the peak of the Empire State Building, the Waldorf-Astoria, and One Times Square. A salesman from Alabama, Leigh is responsible for Broadway's Camel smoke-ring sign, A.&.P. steaming coffee cup, and the 120-foot Pepsi waterfall.
