Russell Henderson,

21, drew two consecutive life sentences after pleading guilty in April in a Wyoming court to the 1998 kidnapping and murder of Matthew Shepard, a 21-year-old gay college student. The trial of Henderson's suspected accomplice, Aaron McKinney, 21, was set to begin in the fall.
