Tody Smith

Age: 50

defensive tackle who played for Dallas in the 1972 Super Bowl and younger brother of NFL star Bubba Smith; first-round pick of the Cowboys in 1971; his six-year career also included stints with Houston and Buffalo; played for USC from 1969-70 after transferring from Michigan St.; member of the "Wild Bunch," a defensive front that helped lead the Trojans to a 10-0-1 record and 10-3 victory over Michigan in the Rose Bowl in 1970.

Died: Los Angeles, July 18, 1999
