New Uranian Moons Discovered

In Sept. 1999, Cornell University astronomers announced the discovery of three more satellites. The moons have been named Setebos, Stephano, and Prospero. The satellites are about 12 mi (20 km) in diameter and orbit in distant, elliptical paths. The moon Trinculo was announced in 2001. With the discovery of two more moons in 2003, the Uranian moon count is up to 27.
