Johnny Dee Age: 75
head men's basketball coach at Notre Dame from 1964-71 who led the team to four NCAA Tournaments, one NIT appearance and an overall record of 116-80; was hired by Alabama in 1953, then the youngest head coach (28 years old) in NCAA history; after retirement worked as a lawyer and was Denver's city auditor from 1975-79. He died of cancer. Died: Denver, Colo., April 24, 1999
