Malcolm Stevenson Forbes

After graduating from Princeton University in 1941, he began working in the family's magazine founded by his father. The business had faltered by the time he took over in 1954, but he expanded circulation and in the process, became a multimillionaire with a reputation for throwing lavish parties and collecting Fabergé eggs.

Died: 1990
