Elias Milton Ammons

rancher, public official
Born: 1860
Birthplace: Macon County, Ga.

Active in the cattle business in Colorado, he was governor from 1913–15. His term was tainted by the accusation that he favored the mine owners in a coal strike in 1913–14.

Died: 1925
