Alan Pakula

The critically acclaimed producer and director of psychologically charged dramas such as Sophie's Choice, To Kill a Mockingbird and The Pelican Brief. Pakula was killed in a freak accident in which a metal pipe smashed through the windshield of his car and hit him in the head.
