One of the greatest stars of country music, Wynette will best be remembered for her No. 1 hit, “Stand By Your Man.” In her 25-year career, she recorded over 50 albums and sold more than 30 million recordings. Her numerous music awards include three Country Music Association awards and two Grammy awards. A former beautician, Wynette's personal life was as turbulent as her songs were passionate, riddled with stormy marriages and health problems. Her other hits include “D-I-V-O-R-C-E” and “Justified and Ancient” which she sang with the British dance group KLF.
