George Schaefer

producer, director

In his career that spanned six decades, Schaefer directed almost 100 television productions, including more than 50 “Hallmark Hall of Fame” presentations. His television credits include Macbeth and Little Moon of Alban. He directed the Broadway plays Teahouse of the August Moon and Idiot's Delight. The Emmy Award-winner served as president of the Directors Guild of America from 1979 to 1981.
