Harry Duncan

hand printer of books

Duncan started hand-printing books in 1939 under the Cummington Press imprint and switched to an electric press in 1985 only because he didn't have an assistant to run the manual press. He published works by Robert Lowell, Wallace Stevens and Tennessee Williams.
