Virginia Van Wie

one of only five players to win golf's U.S. Women's Amateur Championship three consecutive years in 1932, 33 and 34; a member of the 1932 and 1934 Curtis Cup teams which defeated Great Britain and Ireland; taught golf in the Chicago area until she was 78; of natural causes
