Dan Swartz

known as Dangerous Dan for his prowess on the basketball court; a transfer from Kentucky, Swartz had a standout career at what is now Morehead State University; he went on to play for the Boston Celtics where he was a member of their NBA championship teams in the 1960's; Swartz was sheriff in his native Bath County during the late 1970's and early 1980's; he had been a field representative for U.S. Rep Scotty Baesler for the last several years; of an apparent heart attack
