Robert Irsay

Age: 73

controversial NFL owner who moved the Colts from Baltimore to Indianapolis in 1984 overnight to avoid the media attention; became owner of the Baltimore team in 1972 by trading his new Los Angeles Rams organization; under his guidance in 1987 the Colts were involved in one of the largest player deals in NFL history which involved 10 players and sent Eric Dickerson to Indianapolis; the team's best success came when it advanced to the 1995 AFC Championship Game; Irsay's 37–year-old son, Jim, holds the titles of senior executive vice president, general manager and COO of the team; of heart and kidney failure
