Seth Dunscomb

Age: 21

a senior at the University of Kansas and member of the swim team; was the captain of the 1995–96 season; placed fourth in the 200 individual medley and eight in the 200 butterfly at the Big 12 Conference Championships in 1996; set an Illinois state record for the 200–yard individual medley; had blacked out once before in practice but was cleared to compete; cause of death was unknown after Dunscomb collapsed after getting out of the pool
