Ed Danowski

Age: 85

All-American halfback at Fordham during the 1932 and 1933 seasons; went on to play for the Giants from 1934 to 1939 and 1941; named to the All-NFL teams in 1935 and 1938, also led the NFL in passing during the 1935 and 1938 seasons; in the 1934 Championship game Donawski ran for a touchdown and threw for another for a 30–13 victory over the Chicago Bears, threw the game winning TD pass in New York's 23–17 victory over Green Bay in 1938; of complications due to Alzheimer's disease
