Max Youngstein

Youngstein was one of the film executives to turn around the beleaguered movie company United Artists in the 1950s. In his role as head of production and marketing, he greenlighted 1955's Marty and 1956's Around the World in 80 Days. He was also a successful independent producer, with hits including Fail Safe and The Money Trap.
