The Consumer Action Handbook

The Consumer Action Handbook, published by the Federal Consumer Information Center, is over 160 pages of valuable information that no consumer should be without. It provides advice on car repair, purchase and leasing, shopping from home, avoiding consumer and investment fraud, home improvement and financing, and much more. Also included is the Consumer Assistance Directory with thousands of useful names, addresses, phone numbers, and websites.

Up to ten copies of the Consumer Action Handbook are available free ($2.00 service fee) by writing to: Handbook, Pueblo, CO 81009, or by calling 1-888-8-PUEBLO. The handbook can also be viewed online, or downloaded in PDF format, at: www.consumeraction.gov .
