Actress whose chirpy voice and sunny disposition made her a hit on Broadway in the 1960s and then on TV, with the series Funny Face (1971–72). Her performance in the dramatic mini-series Roots (1977) earned her an Emmy Award. After an operation that left her without sight in one eye, Duncan enjoyed a popular return to Broadway in the 1979 revival of Peter Pan. She wed Broadway dancer Don Correia (her third marriage) in 1980. After swearing off TV, she starred in the sitcom The Hogan Family (1988–91).
