Stage and film actress Mastrantonio delivered a strong performance opposite Al Pacino in Scarface (1983) and followed this with an Oscar nomination for her lead role in The Color of Money (1986). She played the Maid Marian in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991) and appeared in Consenting Adults (1992). In 1999 she appeared as an upper-class Scottish woman in My Life So Far, and as a lounge singer in Alaska in John Sayles's Limbo. She headed to the sea as a fishing captain in 2000's The Perfect Storm.
