Pabna

Pabna (pŭb'nä) [key], city (1991 pop. 103,277), W Bangladesh, on the Ichamati River. It is noted for handloom products and hosiery; it has important jute mills. The Hindu temple of Jor Bangla and a college affiliated with Rajshahi Univ. are located in Pabna.
