Gunbad-e-Qabus (goonbäd'-e-kôboo') [key]or Gonbad-e Kavus (gōnbäd'-e kôvOOs') [key], city (1991 pop. 102,768), Mazandaran prov., N Iran, on the Gorgan River. It is an agricultural trade center.
