EncyclopediaGabrovoGabrovo (gäbrô'vô) [key], town (1993 pop. 75,999), N central Bulgaria, in the foothills of the Balkan Mts. It is Bulgaria's chief textile center, producing clothes, leather goods, and textile machinery.
