EncyclopediaBiminisBiminis (bi'minēz, bumē'nēz) [key], island group in the Straits of Florida, forming the northwest section of the Bahamas. The group includes North Bimini, South Bimini, and surrounding cays. Exceptionally good fishing attracts many tourists.
