Kyle MacLachlan actor

Birthplace: Yakima, Washington
The chosen vehicle of director David Lynch's quirky and compelling lead roles, MacLachlan has played in Dune (1984), Blue Velvet (1986), and the cult-hit TV series Twin Peaks (1990–91), followed by the movie prequel Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992). In addition to other film roles, MacLachlan did a stint as director for an episode of Tales from the Crypt (1993, cable TV). He plays Claudius to Ethan Hawke's Hamlet (2000).
