Believe it or not, Ripley's back. Yes, she sacrificed herself in the last installment of the Alien series to save humanity. But that was 200 years ago. In Alien Resurrection, scientists have cloned Ripley with human and alien DNA to free the queen alien who's been hibernating in her chest cavity. The queen alien breeds onboard the Auriga, and her brood wreaks havoc with the humans on the ship. This is not at all what the scientists had planned for the creatures. When another ship, the Betty, docks with the Auriga, a young pixy robot, Annalee Call (Ryder), emerges and joins forces with Ripley and do battle against the aliens. Though Annalee can't match Ripley's strength or impertinence, the pair emanate heat. The energy, goop and wit of the Alien series continues to intensify. Bring on number five.
