6’10’’ flamethrower; struck out over 300 batters 6 times (1993,98,99,00,01,02); led AL in Ks 4 times (1992-95) and NL 5 times (1999-2002,04); struck out 20 batters in a game (5/8/01); 5-time Cy Young Award winner (AL-1995, NL-1999,00,01,02); traded to Houston in 1998 and signed as a free agent with Arizona in 1999; won 3 games and co-MVP honors (Curt Schilling) in 2001 World Series; became oldest in baseball history to pitch a perfect game at age 40 on May 18, 2004 against Atlanta.
