Like Pirates of the Caribbean, this film, starring Eddie Murphy, was inspired by a ride at Walt Disney World. Jim Evers senses he's about to strike gold when asked to sell a mansion in New Orleans. He and his family visit the mansion and find that it's haunted. While they're stranded there by an unexpected storm, Jim discovers that his wife has a mysterious connection to the house.
