Teen readers across the country vote for the
best
In 2003, teen readers across the country voted for their favorite books for the first Teens' Top Ten (TTT), sponsored by The Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), a division of the American Library Association (ALA). The vote took place during Teen Read Week October 19–25, 2003, and gave teens an opportunity to voice their choice of the best new young adult books. The list reflects the results of an online vote by teens across the country.
