Yeşil Irmak

Yeşil Irmak (yĕshēlˈ ərmäkˈ) [key], anc. Iris, river, c.260 mi (418 km) long, rising NE of Sivas, N Turkey. It flows NW, then NE, past Tokat and Amasya into the Black Sea near Samsun.
