Vest-Agder

Vest-Agder vĕstˈ-ägˌdər [key], county (1995 pop. 149,563), 2,810 sq mi (7,278 sq km), S Norway, bordering on the Skagerrak in the south. Kristiansand is the capital. Farming, shipping, fishing, and the manufacture of forest products are the chief occupations. Lindesnes, Norway's southernmost point, is in Vest-Agder.
