Mweru, Lake
Mweru, Lake (mwāˈrō) [key], c.70 mi (110 km) long and 30 mi (50 km) wide, alt. c.3,000 ft (910 m), central Africa, on the Congo-Zambia border. It is drained to the north by the Luvua River. The lake has large fisheries.
