Moreno

Moreno, city (1991 pop. 287,188), Buenos Aires prov., E Argentina. It is a residential and district administrative center in the Greater Buenos Aires area. The district was the scene of several major battles during the Argentine War of Independence and the mid-19th-century unitarian-federalist conflict.
