Lunenburg

Lunenburg lo͞oˈnənbərg [key], town (1991 pop. 2,781), SW N.S., Canada, on Lunenburg Bay, SW of Halifax. It has a large fishing fleet and a fisheries museum. The district was chiefly settled c.1750 by Germans from Hanover.
