LanúsLanús (länōsˈ) [key], city (1991 pop. 466,755), Buenos Aires prov., E Argentina. An administrative center in the Greater Buenos Aires area, it is named for Anacarsis Lanús, a local landowner, merchant, and politician of the 19th cent.
