Kota BaruKota Baru (kōtˈə bärˈō) [key] or Kota Baharu kōtˈə bəhärˈō, city (1990 est. pop. 215,000), capital of Kelantan state, Malaysia, central Malay Peninsula, on the South China Sea at the mouth of the Kelantan River.
