Hoboken, former city, Belgium

Hoboken hōˈbōkən [key], section of Antwerp, Antwerp prov., N Belgium, on the Scheldt River. It has large shipyards and wool-processing plants. A former industrial suburb of Antwerp, it was annexed by Antwerp in 1983.
