Hino (hēˈnō) [key], city (1990 pop. 165,928), Tokyo Metropolis, E central Honshu, Japan, on the Asa River. A residential suburb of Tokyo and part of the Keihin Industrial Region, Hino produces automobiles and electrical machinery.
