Hagia Sophia

Introduction

Hagia Sophia (häˈjə sōfēˈə, hāˈjēə,) [key] [Gr., = Holy Wisdom] or Santa Sophia, Turkish Aya Sofia, originally a Christian church at Constantinople (now Istanbul), later a mosque, and now converted into a museum.
