Fengjie

Fengjie or Fengkieh (both: fŭng-jēĕ) [key], city, E Sichuan prov., China. The city is on the Chang River at the beginning of the series of gorges that extends to Yichang, Hubei prov. There are sulfur and coal mines nearby.
