Emei

Emeiŭˈmāˈ or Omei ōˈmāˈ, ŭˈ– [key], peak, c.10,000 ft (3,050 m) high, SW Sichuan prov., central China. With many Buddhist images and temples and monasteries, it is one of China's sacred peaks.
