BereznikiBerezniki (bĭryĕznyĭkēˈ) [key], city (1989 pop. 201,000), E European Russia, a port on the Kama River. Situated in an area rich in potassium salts, Berezniki is one of the main industrial centers of the Urals and contains a huge chemical combine. The city was founded as a sodium plant in 1883.
