Bani Hasan

Bani Hasan (bäˈnē häsänˈ) [key], village, E central Egypt, on the Nile near Al Minya. There are 39 tombs, carved out of solid rock in the XII dynasty of ancient Egypt. The name is also spelled Beni Hasan.
