Bandar-e TorkamanBandar-e Torkaman (bänˈdär-ā tôrˌkämänˈ) [key] town (1991 pop. 33,338), Mazandaran prov., N Iran, on the Caspian Sea. The town has fisheries and serves as the northern terminus of the Trans-Iranian Railway, which runs to the Persian Gulf. The town was formerly known as Bandar-e Shah.
