OgdenOgden, river, 35 mi (56 km) long, rising in the Wasatch Range in N Utah, and flowing SW to join the Weber River at Ogden. The river has been used for irrigation for nearly a century. The Ogden–Brigham Canal (c.20 mi/30 km long) carries water N to Brigham. Pineview Dam, completed by the Bureau of Reclamation in 1937, is at the head of Ogden Canyon.
