Humboldt

Humboldt (hŭmˈbōlt) [key], city (1990 pop. 9,651), Gibson co., W central Tenn.; inc. 1865. It is a trade and processing center in a region yielding fruits (especially strawberries) and vegetables. Humboldt also has several granite and marble works and some diverse manufacturing.
