Hoquiam

Hoquiam (hōˈkwēəm) [key], city (1990 pop. 8,972), Grays Harbor co., W Wash., on Grays Harbor; inc. 1890. With its twin city, Aberdeen3, it has fishing, shellfishing, lumbering, paper, cranberry, and tourist industries. Wood products and paper industry machinery are manufactured. Olympic National Park (see under Olympic Mts.) is to the north.
