Glencoe

Glencoe (glĕnˈkō) [key], residential village (1990 pop. 8,499), Cook co., NE Ill., on Lake Michigan; inc. 1869. Glencoe is among the several scenic North Shore suburbs N of Chicago. It has light manufacturing.
