South Milwaukee

South Milwaukee, industrial city (1990 pop. 20,958), Milwaukee co., SE Wis., on Lake Michigan; settled 1835, inc. 1897. Draglines, machinery, consumer goods, electrical equipment, and leather products are among the city's manufactures. An annual music festival is held there.
