Sinhalese

Sinhalese (sĭnˌhəlēzˈ) [key], language belonging to the Indic group of the Indo-Iranian subfamily of the Indo-European family of languages. An alternate spelling for Sinhalese is Singhalese. See Indo-Iranian.
